:: I'm Trying Hard ::

Today I've been asked by Idzham, Ina's boyfriend to help him on his sister's new house. He gave me an ideas on the space planning. It's a one and a half storey bungalow. Below is my sketches which I would like to share. At the entrance, they will be a small space to show transition from the outside to the inside and simply can be a place to put shoes, umbrella, etc.

After enter the house they will be a living room and entertainment room. Then they will be dining room and the kitchen. Straight from the entrance,we will view a bar counter which first I decide to put console table. Then,we came with an idea to put a bar counter. I would say it's more functional to add bar counter as a focal point rather than the console table. Outside of the living room, entertainment room and dining room or facing the garden will have timber deck corridor and pergola structure. The interesting part is Idzham wants the Shoji sliding door to be used. It's a Japanese style door. This door will be located at the entertainment room and maybe can applied to the sliding windows facing the pergola but instead using paper, maybe we will use glass. At upstairs, they will be 1 master bedroom + 3 bedrooms and 3 bathroom.

Above is another idea of house from Idzham. He likes this design because of the garden infront the house. It's quite interesting because of the japanese style that he admired. But I think in terms of security, it may not suitable. But this one maybe we can develop later.

I felt so enthusiast doing this because for me space planning is quit challenging and make fast sketches is a skill that one have to be develop. We have to think fast and answer client question as fast and smart as we could or if we can't do that, we are not a good Interior Designer. So, is that makes me one good ID? Harhar...Me still in a long way to be one. I would say that I admire my lady boss, Adlin which she is only 34 years old and have an international company. So young yet so successful. Looking at her, she is likes same age as me. But all is about how you speak and how you stand up yourself. That I have to learn. I need to change my style of talking, I guess. Sometimes when talking to boss or director or senior, my voice is like stuck in the throat, it don't want to go out loud. No matter how hard I tried..Harhar.. But if gossiping, sure my voice is loud and clear. Harr.. How ah?

I'm trying hard to change myself in career terms. I need to stand up and make one step further for my future career. It's either you will be in the same position for many years or you'll facing a challenging scope of works. But for sure must demand for high pay salary lah..If not,wasting my time only..harhar...

If me as an ID, I have to change my outfit to the office too..Harhar..But, how ar? Should I wear A3 paper? or a paint chart? This comic doesn't make sense at all.
